ABOUT US…

  As a graduate of the USC Cinema Department, Maura went on to direct Towing with Sue Lyon and Joe Mantegna. While being an honors student in the MFA Screenwriting Program at Columbia University, Maura received the first prize for the Zaki Gordon Memorial Award for Excellence in Screenwriting.

Ms. Smith has directed for such companies as Sony Music, BBC-TV, and Paramount Communications. Recently, Maura directed the feature documentaries Apparition, Fearless, and Revive.

When not directing, Maura researched and edited many published photo books with Powerhouse, Damiani, Hatje Cantz, and Taschen.  Maura’s favorite films are Chinatown, Marriage Story, Baby Driver, and What’s Up, Doc?.

         Cam Lewis is a distinguished young filmmaker. He was selected by the Telluride Film Festival in 2022 to be part of their International Student Symposium. Cam Lewis began writing and making films at an early age. After years of making numerous short films and working as a videographer in his hometown of Danville, Virginia, he raised over $10,000 to move to Chicago and pay for his first year at Columbia College Chicago. He has since been writing and directing short films. Cam’s favorite films are Towing, Ace in the Hole, Melvin and Howard, and La Strada

         Born and raised in L.A., Theophilus Donoghue now lives in Chicago. He is a documentary photographer and is also pursuing a career as a chaplain. His photo stories focus on the underserved members of society. Since the early age of 17, Theophilus has traveled the world and seen firsthand the struggles of developing countries. Volunteering in Ethiopia and meditating in India changed his worldview. In 2018-19, he traveled on the World Race for 11 months to 11 different countries in Asia, Africa, and South America. Africa still holds the largest place in his heart. The issue of clean drinking water is Theophilus’s main mission.
